Vegetable Growing made easy - a talk by Pippa Greenwood, to include an explanation of her own online services for growing your own vegetables.

Tickets £10 members, available from committee members in advance. There is limited availability for this meeting, so book early.

The Secret Gardens of Hampshire  Talk by local NGS chairman Mrs P Elkington.

May: Sat 7, 10.30 – 11.30am at Yew Tree Cottage, Empshott Green

Bring & Buy Plant sale – bargains, plus tea, coffee and a raffle.

 

May: Tues 24  7.45pm Hawkley Village Hall            ?                                                              Medicinal Plants - Cultivating and using them. A talk by Mr Julian Barker of The Wilbury Clinic of Natural Medicine, Hove, and author of ‘Medicinal Flora’.

Summer Show Again everyone is welcome. Exhibits by members should be in by 10am. Schedules will be out some weeks before

 

August: Tues 16  6pm at Empshott Lodge

Garden visit to a member’s garden, and a glass of wine.

Members make their own way.

 

September: Tues 13   Guided tour of Parham House Gardens, near Storrington.

Tour starts at 11.00am. Visitor numbers are restricted for this tour. Details from the committee nearer the time. 

 

October: Tues 25 7.45pm at Hawkley Village Hall: AGM

followed by E&HHS’s own Gardeners’ Quesion Time. Chairman Brian Mayo

Developimg a Wild Flower Meadow – 20 years experience described by Mr Michael Joseph, formerly Conservation Officer of the Wey & Arun Canal Trust
